Soccer Copilot

Soccer Copilot

Soccer Copilot started with the desire for coaching staff to see and review core game statistics with the aim to empower coaching staff with the ability to make better informed decisions about key areas of the game that can be improved on.

Initially the scope was to simply record the number of passes between players and record a trend of the good consecutive passes between players and the number of bad passes, where a bad pass is where the ball was intercepted, and possession was lost.

With the development of the Soccer Copilot app, scope was expanded to record other metrics to create a range of summaries giving coaches more results. When version 1 of the app launched, and some real games recorded the coaches could monitor progress and improvements and target key areas needed for improvement.

INFO: Soccer Copilot does not contain advertising and once you own a copy of Soccer Copilot, you get the full experience available. Soccer Copilot does not compromise the user experience with annoying adds to distract you from recording a game, and our philosophy is that we always offer the full experience to all users.

Road Ahead

With the initial launch of Soccer Copilot out of the way we can focus on further improvement to continually evolve the app. Some of the exciting features being developed currently are:

1. Speech to Text: Replace the need to look down at the device to press buttons, by speaking to your device to record actions.

2. On-line Interactive Reports: Not content with static single game statistics, we are working on generating interactive On-line reports with ability get deeper trends and cross analysis between multiple games for better insights.

3. Subscribe to different teams so that any games recorded by other profiles for other teams will automatically load onto your game history. This is an exciting feature as it will let (A) Share duties of recording a game between different members of a team and then get the results automatically and (B) Let you get results for other teams, e.g other teams from your club.
